Same-day in Temecula

When it can't wait for a pickup day

Temecula's free bulky pickup through CR&R is a good deal, but it runs on CR&R's schedule. The city says to call ahead and arrange it in advance, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. That's fine for a couch you can live with for another week. It doesn't work for a move-out the landlord is inspecting tomorrow, a garage that has to be clear before the new car shows up, or a listing photo shoot on Friday.

That's the gap we fill. Call early, tell us what's going, and if there's room on the schedule we're usually there within one to three hours. If there isn't, we'll say so on the phone and book the next opening, so you're never waiting on a window we can't hold.

What we haul in Temecula

Big furniture, backyard pools and HOA driveways

Temecula loads lean toward bigger furniture: desks, couches and loveseats. We also take apart a lot of the above-ground pools homeowners assemble themselves, and haul the whole thing off in one trip.

Light demolition is a regular part of the work here too. Old sheds, playgrounds and swing sets get taken apart and hauled away, and the yard is left clean.

A lot of our Temecula customers live in HOA communities like Morgan Hill, Redhawk, Vail Ranch, Wolf Creek and Crowne Hill. Homeowners there want junk gone before it sits in the driveway long enough to draw a notice, so speed matters as much as price. We load fast, sweep up and leave nothing sitting outside.

Neighborhoods we work in

All over Temecula

Temecula spreads from Old Town out to the east-side hills and the master-planned HOA communities to the south. We work in all of them.

Redhawk

A big master-planned community on the south side, built around a golf course, with HOA standards to match. Quick loads and nothing left in the driveway.

Morgan Hill

One of the stricter HOA communities we work in. Homeowners want the old couch gone before anyone notices it, and we're in and out fast.

Wolf Creek

Newer homes on the south end of town, in an HOA where junk isn't supposed to sit outside for long. We load from the garage or backyard.

Harveston

Built around its own lake, with HOA standards for how a driveway looks. We leave the street the way we found it.

Vail Ranch

Family homes on the east side off Highway 79, and another HOA community where speed and a clean driveway matter.

Old Town

Temecula's historic downtown, full of restaurants, shops and tasting rooms. We schedule store refreshes and restaurant turnovers around your hours and keep the sidewalk clear.

Crowne Hill

A hillside HOA community with bigger lots and sloped backyards. We do the carrying up and down the slope.

Temecula bulky item pickup

What the city pickup covers, and where it stops

CR&R is Temecula's franchised waste hauler. The city says residents get two free bulky item pickups a year, arranged in advance by calling CR&R at (800) 755-8112 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

For yard projects, the city's answer is an extra green waste bin from CR&R, on a temporary or permanent basis, and green waste can also go to the City Wide Clean Up events at Chaparral High School.

What it covers

  • Two free bulky item pickups a year
  • An extra green bin from CR&R for a big yard project
  • Green waste drop-off at the city's City Wide Clean Up events

Where it stops

  • It's booked in advance, so it can't help you today
  • Two pickups is the free allowance for the whole year
  • A green bin holds trimmings, not a shed or a swing set

If it can wait and it fits CR&R's rules, use your free pickups. If it can't, call us.

Some customers tell us their pickup day came and went. In an HOA neighborhood, that means a couch sitting in the driveway for another week, and nobody wants to explain that to the board.

Same-day doesn't mean rushed. We still pull from wherever the junk sits, sweep up when we're done, and set aside anything worth donating.

Where it goes

Donated, recycled, then disposed

Our main donation stop is right here in town: the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Temecula. It takes a much wider range of furniture and household goods than most donation centers, which matters in a city where so much of what we haul is larger furniture. Goodwill and other local thrift stores take some items, with stricter rules. All told, roughly 30 to 40 percent of what we haul is donated or recycled.

Metal goes to AIM Recycling in Perris, and what's left of a load goes to CR&R. Temecula's organics end up in Perris too, at the anaerobic digester CR&R built there, and the closest county-listed transfer station is CR&R's Perris Transfer Station on Goetz Rd, a drive up the 215.

Closest transfer station: Perris Transfer Station (CR&R) · 1706 Goetz Rd, Perris

A lot of our customers just want everything gone quickly without having to worry about getting a notice from their HOA.

A job we won’t forget

A veteran's garage

One day in Temecula, we did a job for a homeowner who was a military veteran. His garage was full of heavy things he couldn't lift himself, and he needed it cleared out.

He was such a nice guy. The whole time we were there, he was kind to us and complimented the crew every single moment. While we worked, he shared his stories with us, and we were glad to hear them.

We carried every piece out of the garage and loaded the truck, so by the time we left, the space was empty and the job was off his list. We do plenty of garage cleanouts around the valley, but that one stuck with me.

“People like that are the reason why I do business.”

Temecula FAQ

Junk removal in Temecula: common questions

Do you really offer same-day junk removal in Temecula?

Yes. We handle same-day jobs almost every day and usually arrive within 1–3 hours of your call, depending on the schedule and where the trucks are. If we can't make it today, we'll book the next opening rather than promise a window we can't hold.

Can I get a Temecula quote from pictures?

We typically don't work from pictures. We come out to your place in Temecula and price the job on site, free, so you get an exact price instead of a guess. Need a rough figure before then? Tap through the load estimator on our pricing page for a ballpark.

Can you haul away an above-ground pool in Temecula?

Yes. Above-ground pools that homeowners assembled themselves are something we haul regularly in Temecula. We take it apart, load the whole thing and leave the yard clean.

Do you work in HOA communities like Redhawk and Morgan Hill?

All the time. Morgan Hill, Redhawk, Vail Ranch, Wolf Creek and Crowne Hill are some of the stricter HOA communities we work in. We know homeowners there want junk gone before it draws a notice, so we come fast, load from wherever it sits and leave nothing outside.

How many free bulky item pickups does Temecula give residents?

Two a year, through CR&R, according to the City of Temecula. You arrange them in advance by calling CR&R at (800) 755-8112 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Why pay for junk removal if CR&R picks up bulky items for free?

If it can wait and you still have a free pickup left, you probably shouldn't. People call us when it can't wait, when they've used both pickups, when the item is inside and heavy, or when it's light demolition like an old shed or swing set.

Do you work with Old Town Temecula businesses?

Yes. Store refreshes, restaurant turnovers, office cleanouts and fixture removal, scheduled around your hours. Our commercial pages cover retail and restaurant work in more detail.

How is junk removal priced in Temecula?

By how much space your load takes in the truck, not by the hour, and the same as everywhere else we work. There's no distance fee for Temecula. The minimum pickup starts at $235, and you get the exact number before we load anything.
